If you recently purchased a new vehicle and have experienced significant issues with it within its first year or 18,000 miles, you may be entitled to compensation. Pursuant to Ohio Law, if a new vehicle has been in the shop with the same issue at least three (3) times within the first year or 18,000 miles and the problem persists, that vehicle is presumed a Lemon. Additionally, if the vehicle has been in service for a specified period of time, it can also be presumed a Lemon.

If a vehicle is presumed a Lemon, Ohio Law states that the consumer is entitled to a new vehicle or a full refund. Often, however the manufacturer would rather settle, fix your vehicle once and for all and pay you money to avoid a full refund or a new vehicle.
